1. Mission Alignment Policy
All programs, services, and activities of Love, Faith & God’s Ministry must align with our mission to serve the homeless community with love, faith, and compassion. Every volunteer and team member is expected to uphold the values of dignity, respect, and service in all interactions.
2. Code of Conduct
Volunteers, staff, and partners must treat all individuals with kindness, respect, and without discrimination. Harassment, inappropriate language, or behavior that undermines the mission of the organization will not be tolerated.
3. Volunteer Guidelines
All volunteers are required to sign in during service events, follow safety protocols, and work collaboratively with team leaders. Volunteers should maintain a positive and supportive attitude while serving the community and adhere to assigned roles and responsibilities.
4. Food Safety & Handling Procedures
All meals must be prepared, stored, and distributed following basic food safety standards. This includes proper hygiene, use of gloves, safe food temperatures, and clean preparation environments to ensure the health and safety of those served.
5. Clothing Distribution Policy
Clothing donations must be clean, gently used, and appropriate for distribution. Items are sorted and organized before outreach events to ensure individuals receive suitable and respectful options.
6. Grooming Services Procedures
Haircuts and grooming services must be performed by qualified volunteers in a safe, sanitary, and respectful environment. Proper sanitation of tools and equipment is required before and after each use.
7. Safety & Security Policy
The safety of volunteers and those served is a priority. All outreach activities should be conducted in teams, in well-coordinated locations, and with awareness of surroundings. Any incidents should be reported immediately to leadership.
8. Donations & Financial Transparency
All donations—monetary or in-kind—are to be recorded and used solely to support the mission of the organization. The ministry is committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of all resources.
9. Confidentiality Policy
Personal information shared by individuals receiving services must be respected and kept confidential. Photos or videos should only be taken with proper consent.
10. Non-Discrimination Policy
Love, Faith & God’s Ministry serves all individuals regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or background. Services are provided equally to all in need.
11. Outreach Procedures
Outreach events are planned and organized in advance, including location setup, supply distribution, and volunteer coordination. Team leaders oversee operations to ensure services run smoothly and respectfully.
12. Reporting & Accountability
All volunteers and staff are encouraged to report concerns, incidents, or suggestions to leadership. Continuous improvement is encouraged to better serve the community and strengthen the organization’s impact.
